The SHS engages people of Scandinavian heritage and their families to promote,
preserve, celebrate and support Scandinavian tradition and values with-in the multicultural context of Northwestern Ontario Values

Arts and Culture

By celebrating Scandinavian Heritage through Art and Culture, we showcase Scandinavian art, music, food, and traditions in Northwestern Ontario. We believe that by promoting and preserving Scandinavian culture, we can foster a sense of connection and application among our members and the wide community.

Language and History

By preserving Scandinavian heritage, our language and history programs provide resources and information about Scandinavian history, language, and lifestyle. We believe that by sharing knowledge about Scandinavian heritage, we can preserve and celebrate this rich culture for generations to come.

Community Engagement

By building connections, our community engagement programs aim to build connections and foster a sense of community among our members and the wider community. We host events, workshops, and social gatherings to bring people together and celebrate Scandinavian heritage
